Capital Markets Director
Summary
A growing specialty finance platform is seeking a Capital Markets Director to support funding strategy, liquidity management, and financing initiatives across a diversified lending portfolio. Working closely with senior leadership and external funding partners, this individual will play a key role in managing funding facilities, monitoring liquidity, and evaluating opportunities to enhance the firm's funding profile. The position offers broad exposure to structured funding programs, lender and investor relationships, capital planning, and treasury-related activities. This is a highly visible, cross functional role that sits at the intersection of capital markets, treasury, and corporate finance.
Responsibilities
- Manage borrowing base reporting, liquidity monitoring, covenant compliance, and funding facility performance
- Support lender, investor, and financing partner relationships while assisting with new funding initiatives and capital structure optimization
- Lead funding, portfolio, and liquidity reporting, including responses to diligence, audit, and financing related requests
- Drive process improvements, automation efforts, and strategic projects aimed at improving funding efficiency and scalability
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in capital markets, treasury, structured finance, securitization, or funding-related roles
- Strong understanding of asset-backed financing structures, warehouse facilities, covenant management, and lender reporting
- Experience within specialty finance, consumer lending, fintech, or other asset-backed lending environments
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced setting
