Asia Macro Portfolio Manager
We are representing an established global macro hedge fund with a longstanding focus on Emerging Markets. They are seeking an experienced Asia Macro Portfolio Manager to join its Hong Kong office. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of generating strong risk-adjusted returns through a directional macro investment style, with particular expertise in Asian Rates and/or FX markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a clear, disciplined and repeatable investment process.
- Manage a portfolio across Asian Emerging Markets Rates and FX instruments within established risk parameters.
- Generate differentiated investment ideas through rigorous macroeconomic analysis.
- Work closely with fellow Portfolio Managers and research teams to share market views and investment opportunities.
- Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing investment culture.
Requirements
- Proven track record of generating double-digit risk-adjusted returns.
- Minimum of five years' experience managing capital within a discretionary macro framework.
- Deep expertise across Asian Rates and/or FX markets.
- Strong portfolio construction and risk management capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or PhD preferred.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to be based full-time in Hong Kong.
