AML Compliance Manager
The Role
As Compliance & AML Manager, you will take ownership of compliance and AML topics, acting as a key advisor to internal stakeholders while helping to shape and strengthen frameworks in a regulated setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on compliance & AML matters and support internal stakeholders
- Translate regulatory requirements into practical policies, controls, and procedures
- Maintain and further develop compliance & AML frameworks
- Optimise and (where possible) automate processes
- Conduct KYC and sanctions checks, including documentation and risk assessment
- Support audits, regulatory reporting (e.g. BaFin/Bundesbank) and external interactions
- Contribute to compliance topics within fund-related activities
Your Profile
- Degree in law, economics, or a related field
- Several years' experience in compliance/AML within a regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g. KWG, GwG, MaRisk, MiFID)
- Ability to translate complex regulation into practical solutions
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent German and strong English
