Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structured Credit Trader (VP) to join our London-based Credit Trading team. The successful candidate will be responsible for pricing, risk management, and execution across a range of structured credit products including Credit Linked Notes (CLNs), Credit Default Swaps (CDS), Total Return Swaps (TRS), and Repo. This is a high-impact role within a dynamic and fast-paced trading environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trade and manage risk across structured credit products (CLNs, CDS, TRS, Repo).
- Develop and maintain pricing models and trading strategies.
- Work closely with sales, structuring, and research teams to deliver bespoke solutions to clients.
- Monitor market developments and identify trading opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk controls.
- Contribute to the development of new products and structures to meet evolving client needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit trading, preferably with exposure to structured products.
- Strong understanding of credit markets, derivatives, and fixed income instruments.
- Proven track record in managing risk and generating P&L.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with electronic trading platforms and risk systems.
- Programming skills (Python, VBA) are a plus.
- CFA or other relevant qualifications are advantageous.
