What You'll Do

• Work on UNIX infrastructure projects in APAC data centers and colocations, including server capacity planning and deployment.
• Configure, optimise, and upgrade systems to ensure resilience and compliance with security standards.
• Utilise your expertise in RHEL/Linux to address production issues, providing troubleshooting and root cause analysis in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Collaborate closely with front-office trading teams to enhance system performance and streamline automation.
• Contribute to a multi-national IT infrastructure by leveraging scripting and automation tools such as Bash, Python, and Perl.

Skills You'll Bring

• UNIX Expertise: Solid knowledge of RedHat/Linux, including patching and in-depth troubleshooting.
• Scripting Competence: Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Perl for administrative tasks and system solutions.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IBM, HP Blade, and x86 architecture, networking in a high-frequency trading context.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and regions.
• Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and travel within the APAC region if required.
