Role Overview
The company is seeking an accomplished Senior Full Stack Application Developer (Vice President level) with a minimum of 6-8+ years' experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-quality web applications. The ideal candidate brings advanced proficiency in React.js and Java/Node.js back-end development, with strong command of OOP principles, REST API architecture, and microservices. Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, modern DevOps practices, and Agile delivery is highly preferred.
This position is based in the Charlotte office and follows a hybrid onsite schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-stack development initiatives using React.js for the front end and Java (Spring Boot) or TypeScript/Node.js for back-end services.
- Design and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Apply advanced object‑oriented design patterns and best practices.
- Develop intuitive, accessible, and responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Build and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging key Azure components, such as:
- Azure API Management (APIM)
- Event Hub
- Azure Functions
- App Services
- PostgreSQL
- Work across relational and NoSQL databases, including integration and data modeling.
- Drive Agile team processes including planning, sprint execution, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Partner closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6-8+ years of progressive full‑stack development experience. (Would consider 4-5+ for exceptional candidates)
- Deep expertise in React.js, Java, and modern web application architecture.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object‑oriented programming.
- Proven experience creating RESTful APIs and working within a microservices environment.
- High proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Demonstrated success deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure (APIM, Functions, etc.).
- Solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Experience working within Agile frameworks and using CI/CD tools.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Professional Azure or cloud certifications.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross‑functional teams or Agile environments.
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.
