The organization is seeking a Senior Data Scientist - AI/ML Solutions, a highly skilled individual contributor with a strong foundation in production-ready AI/ML systems. This role involves leading use cases, developing predictive models, and collaborating across disciplines to bring scalable, high-impact solutions to life.
Responsibilities:
- Lead AI/ML use cases and mentor junior data scientists through the full lifecycle of solution development.
- Conduct data exploration, wrangling, and preparation to build robust modeling datasets.
- Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to develop predictive models and analytical solutions.
- Perform data quality checks and ensure integrity throughout model development and deployment.
- Collaborate with data engineers and MLOps teams to package and deploy models into production environments.
- Innovate with new methodologies and propose creative approaches to solving business challenges.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions.
- Communicate insights and results through data visualization and presentations to key decision-makers.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail in all work.
- Stay current on industry trends by attending conferences and contributing to internal best practices.
Qualifications:
- PhD with 2+ years or Master's with 4+ years of experience in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning modeling and development.
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling and data analysis.
- Experience with a range of ML techniques including clustering, decision trees, boosting, and neural networks.
- Proven track record in experimental design and execution.
- Skilled in data wrangling, fuzzy matching, regular expressions, and distributed computing.
- Proficient in Python and familiar with scalable ML frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and business teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and guiding data science teams.
