We are representing a regional insurance carrier with strong financial backing and a solid foundation in the commercial lines space. They're looking to bring on a Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter to help drive growth and deepen agency relationships across the Southeast.

What You'll Do

• Underwrite and manage a middle-market commercial P&C book with a focus on profitable growth.
• Evaluate new and renewal business, applying sound judgment and underwriting discipline.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners across the region.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support underwriting strategy, appetite, and service standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of underwriting processes and tools.

What They're Looking For

• 5-10+ years of commercial lines underwriting experience, ideally with a regional or national carrier.
• Strong technical underwriting skills and market knowledge.
• A relationship-first mindset with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make confident, informed decisions.
• Familiarity with the Southeast market is a plus.
