Private Markets Associate - Arabic Speaker

A global investment firm specialising in alternative assets is seeking an Associate to join its Private Markets team. The firm delivers tailored investment solutions to institutional clients across hedge funds, private credit, private equity, real assets, and real estate. The team oversees over $370bn in combined assets under supervision, including both advisory and discretionary mandates.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess investment opportunities across private markets, with a focus on the GCC region
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence, including financial statement analysis
• Build financial models and perform valuation and sensitivity analyses, particularly for secondary transactions
• Coordinate third-party due diligence and reference checks
• Collaborate with the primary fund team to analyse underlying exposures
• Prepare investment memos and present findings to the Investment Committee
• Maintain internal databases and track performance metrics
• Produce research and insights on private markets trends
• Support business development efforts and client engagement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in private markets, ideally in Private Equity, Private Credit, or Real Assets
• Regional experience in the Middle East is advantageous but not essential
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
• Proficient in Excel and other analytical tools
• Fluent in Arabic and English, with strong writing skills in both languages
• Collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
