The Role
We are seeking a driven and analytically strong Private Equity Analyst to join the Frankfurt-based investment team. You will play a key role in supporting the execution of transactions and portfolio management initiatives, working closely with senior professionals across all stages of the deal process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis (LBO, DCF, comparable analysis)
- Support the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities, including market research and due diligence coordination
- Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and internal reports
- Assist in structuring transactions and liaising with advisors, lenders, and management teams
- Monitor portfolio company performance, including financial analysis and strategic initiatives
- Contribute to exit processes, including preparation of marketing materials and interaction with potential buyers
Candidate Profile
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking (M&A), private equity, transaction services, or leveraged finance
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent academic background from a leading university
- Demonstrated interest in private equity and investing
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Fluency in German and English is required
