Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Vice President to lead Credit Loan Syndication and Distribution efforts across the GCC and India. This Dubai-based role will focus on originating, structuring, and distributing syndicated loan transactions with banks and financial institutions across the region. The ideal candidate will bring strong client relationships, a background in Debt Capital Markets (DCM), and fluency in an Indian language.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the syndication and distribution of credit and loan transactions across GCC and Indian financial institutions.
  • Originate and structure primary and secondary loan opportunities, including bilateral, club, and syndicated facilities.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with banks, sovereigns, and multilaterals across the Middle East and India.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including DCM, credit trading, legal, risk, and operations to ensure seamless execution.
  • Drive strategic asset allocation and portfolio optimisation aligned with capital efficiency and risk appetite.
  • Negotiate agency transfers and coordinate with loan traders for execution.
  • Represent the firm in investor meetings, roadshows, and syndication forums across the region.
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to origination teams to enhance product offering and pricing strategy.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in loan syndication, credit sales, or DCM.
  • Strong network across GCC and Indian banks, with proven deal execution experience.
  • Fluent in English and at least one Indian language (e.g., Hindi, Tamil, Gujarati).
  • Based in Dubai or willing to relocate; must be open to frequent travel to India.
  • Deep understanding of credit markets, loan documentation (LMA), and syndication processes.
  • Strong analytic, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in an international bank or financial institution preferred.
