Junior Execution Shift Trader

Join a leading hedge fund as a Junior Execution Trader within their central trading and monitoring team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a role in overseeing trading activities and operational processes while contributing to automation and efficiency of trading. As part of a new team build-out, you'll work on greenfield projects with significant scope for growth and the chance to evolve into a more quantitative role over time. The team will cover all asset classes and product types. It will cover a mixture of systematic and discretionary strategies.

What you will do:

• Monitor risk exposure and implement appropriate hedging measures
• Supervise systematic trading strategies and ensure efficient, uninterrupted trading operations
• Optimise monitoring and booking work flows
• Handle various ad-hoc tasks related to trading and operations

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field
• Experience in trade execution or monitoring
• Python programming proficiency
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
