Title: Investment Banking Vice President/Director - Technology/Consumer

Location: New York (but open to other office locations)

A full-service boutique investment bank headquartered in Chicago, Illinois is actively seeking a Vice President to join its growing Technology or Consumer M&A team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-impact group focused on expanding its presence in the tech or consumer sector

Ideal candidates are currently first or second year Investment Banking Vice Presidents with deep experience in technology M&A or coverage, and a strong background in transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including buy-side, sell-side, and strategic advisory
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to senior executives
• Oversee financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence processes
• Prepare and present pitch books, management presentations, and marketing materials
• Mentor and manage junior team members, including Associates and Analysts
• Support business development efforts and contribute to deal origination

Qualifications

• 4-10 years of investment banking experience, with a strong focus on technology M&A
• Proven track record of leading and closing transactions
• Deep expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred

Compensation

• $225,000 to $250,000 base
