Investment Analyst | Cross Capital Hedge Fund
A leading hedge fund is seeking a highly analytical and driven Investment Analyst to join its team, focusing on cross capital structure opportunities across Asia. This is a sector-agnostic role designed for individuals who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and are passionate about uncovering pricing inefficiencies across capital structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep-dive fundamental analysis on credit and convertible bond instruments across various sectors in Asia.
- Identify and evaluate relative value opportunities between credit, convertibles, and macro instruments.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models.
- Work closely with the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) on idea generation, trade structuring, and portfolio monitoring.
- Prepare investment memos and present findings to the investment committee.
Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, preferably in leveraged finance, structured finance, or M&A.
- Strong financial modeling skills, with a focus on three-statement and LBO models.
- Solid understanding of credit markets and convertible securities.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a lean team structure.
