A leading global logistics and supply chain solutions provider is seeking a Financial Reporting & Compliance Manager Europe to join its European finance team. Operating across multiple international markets, the business delivers end-to-end freight forwarding and logistics services while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence, compliance, and financial governance.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of statutory reporting, transfer pricing compliance, tax coordination, and external reporting across a complex multinational European structure.
The Role
As Financial Reporting & Compliance Manager Europe, you will be responsible for overseeing statutory financial reporting, transfer pricing compliance, tax reporting coordination, and regulatory filings across several European entities. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will ensure the organisation remains compliant with local reporting requirements while supporting audits, consolidations, and broader finance projects.
Key Responsibilities
Statutory Financial Reporting
- Manage statutory financial reporting for multiple European legal entities and consolidated groups.
- Prepare annual statutory financial statements and supporting disclosures.
- Lead consolidation activities, including intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries.
- Coordinate external audits and ensure timely completion of reporting requirements.
- Monitor changes in local accounting and reporting regulations.
Transfer Pricing & Tax Compliance
- Oversee transfer pricing compliance across European operations.
- Coordinate the preparation of Transfer Pricing Master Files and Local Files with external advisors.
- Support transfer pricing reviews, audits, and regulatory enquiries.
- Coordinate corporate income tax filings and tax reporting processes.
- Act as a key point of contact for external tax advisors and authorities.
Regulatory & External Reporting
- Manage statistical and regulatory reporting obligations across the region.
- Ensure timely submission of required filings to local authorities.
- Support ad hoc reporting requests from finance leadership and external stakeholders.
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance frameworks.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with finance teams across Europe to ensure consistency and accuracy of reporting.
- Support senior finance leadership with technical accounting and compliance matters.
- Drive process improvements and increase efficiency across reporting activities.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required.
Candidate Profile
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification (RA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) preferred.
- 8+ years of experience within financial reporting, accounting, audit, or compliance.
- Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting knowledge.
- Experience managing consolidations and group reporting processes.
- Previous Big Four audit or technical accounting background is highly desirable.
- Exposure to transfer pricing and multinational tax compliance.
- Experience working within an international or multinational environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English required; additional European languages are advantageous.
- Experience with consolidation systems is beneficial.
