Equity Sales Trader

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Equity Sales Trader with to join our clients equity department. This role is ideal for someone with strong market instincts, client engagement skills, and a passion for equity markets. You will be responsible for executing equity trades, providing market colour, and supporting institutional client relationships across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute equity trades on behalf of institutional clients, ensuring best execution and adherence to compliance standards.
• Provide real-time market commentary, trade ideas, and liquidity solutions to clients.
• Work closely with sales, research, and trading teams to deliver seamless client service.
• Monitor market developments and identify trading opportunities aligned with client interests.
• Maintain and grow relationships with hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and other institutional investors.
• Assist in onboarding new clients and supporting post-trade processes.

Qualifications:

• 2-6 years of experience in equity sales trading, preferably with exposure to Asia markets.
• Strong understanding of equity products, market structure, and trading platforms.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality execution.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Fluency in English; additional Asian language skills (e.g., Mandarin or Cantonese) are a plus.
