EM/LATAM FX Options Trader

Overview:
Our client, a leading global financial institution is seeking a highly motivated and experienced FX Options Trader to join its Emerging Markets desk, with a focus on Latin America. This is a front-office trading role offering exposure to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the EM FX options franchise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Price and manage risk in EM FX options, with a primary focus on LATAM currencies.
• Execute trades and manage positions across a range of products including vanilla and exotic options.
• Collaborate closely with sales, structuring, and research teams to deliver client solutions and market insights.
• Monitor market developments and macroeconomic trends impacting LATAM FX markets.
• Ensure compliance with internal risk limits and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience trading EM FX options, ideally with a LATAM focus.
• Strong understanding of options pricing, risk management, and market microstructure.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with LATAM political and economic landscapes.
• Experience working with institutional clients and delivering tailored solutions.
• Proficiency in relevant trading platforms and risk systems.
