EM Credit Sales VP

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced VP-level Emerging Markets Credit Sales professional to join its expanding London-based team. This is a strategic growth hire aimed at deepening coverage across CEEMEA, with a particular focus on MENA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of emerging markets credit products to institutional clients across the UK and Europe.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with asset managers, hedge funds, private banks, and sovereign wealth funds.
  • Collaborate closely with trading, research, and syndicate teams to deliver tailored credit solutions.
  • Originate and execute trades across sovereign, quasi-sovereign, and corporate credit in USD, EUR, and local currencies.
  • Provide market intelligence, trade ideas, and client coverage across CEEMEA, with emphasis on MENA.
  • Support primary issuance and secondary market flows, including new deals and roadshows.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 8+ years of experience in emerging markets credit sales, preferably with a focus on CEEMEA.
  • Strong client network across MENA and/or broader CEEMEA region.
  • Proven track record of revenue generation and client development.
  • Language skills in Arabic or other CEEMEA languages highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of EM credit markets, macro drivers, and regulatory landscape.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to contribute to a growing platform.
