Director - Private Wealth / Distribution (DACH Coverage)
Overview:
A leading, global Tier‑1 private markets platform with a multi‑hundred billion AUM is seeking to hire a Director‑level Private Wealth professional to join its capital formation and investor relations team.
The role will focus on developing and expanding coverage across family offices and private wealth channels, working closely with some of the most sophisticated investors globally. The firm has a strong institutional heritage and is continuing to invest heavily in building out its private wealth distribution capabilities across the DACH region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead coverage and relationship management across single and multi‑family offices, as well as broader private wealth channels
- Drive capital raising across a range of private markets strategies, including private equity, infrastructure, and private credit
- Originate and develop new investor relationships while maintaining and growing existing accounts
- Act as a trusted partner to investors, providing ongoing market insights and product updates
- Collaborate closely with internal investment and product teams to position investment opportunities effectively
- Represent the firm across investor meetings, roadshows, and industry events
Candidate Profile:
- Director / VP‑level experience within Investor Relations, Distribution, or Capital Formation
- Strong track record of raising capital from family offices and private wealth investors
- Deep relationships across UHNW, family offices, and private banks (DACH focus)
- Broad exposure to private markets, including private equity, private credit, and infrastructure
- Commercial, relationship‑driven individual with the ability to originate and convert investor conversations into allocations
Personal Attributes:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with credibility at senior investor level
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a high-performance, global platform
- Ability to navigate both institutional and private wealth environments
Compensation:
