We are partnering with a well‑established financial institution known for its global presence and diverse client base. The organization is seeking an experienced Commodities Derivatives Sales professional to drive commercial growth across listed and OTC commodity derivative products.
As a Commodities Derivatives Sales professional, you will develop and expand revenue opportunities by offering commodity‑linked derivative solutions through your select client portfolio. You will serve as a trusted market advisor, combining product expertise, market intelligence, and strong relationship‑building skills to support clients' hedging and investment objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow the Client Base: Identify and engage prospective institutional and corporate clients through outreach, research, and targeted market analysis. Build a strong pipeline to support long‑term business development.
- Strengthen Client Relationships: Maintain ongoing relationships with new and existing clients by understanding their objectives, risk appetite, and strategic needs. Provide timely insights, trade ideas, and advisory support.
- Execute Sales Activities: Pitch structured and standardized derivatives solutions, communicate potential risks and returns, and collaborate with internal trading and support teams to ensure seamless trade execution. Negotiate pricing and commercial terms where required.
- Deliver Market Insights: Monitor market developments, identify emerging trends, and prepare reports on client activity and sector movements for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure Robust Risk Practices: Work with internal stakeholders to ensure all transactions remain compliant with regulatory and internal standards. Help clients understand best‑practices in risk management.
Requirements
- At least 3-7 years of experience in commodities sales, commodities broking / sales trader or equivalent roles
- Strong academic foundation in finance, economics, business, or related discipline.
- Solid exposure to commodities markets, derivatives instruments, and risk frameworks.
- The ability to communicate clearly, analyze complex market situations, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

In this role, you will be part of a fast‑paced energy risk advisory sales team, supporting market execution, client risk management, and commercial hedging solutions. This position blends trading, analytics, and client interaction, offering hands‑on exposure to derivatives, risk systems, and real‑time market dynamics.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high‑velocity environments, enjoys blending data with commercial decision‑making, and wants a front‑row seat to the mechanics of energy risk management.
Responsibilities
- Play a core role on the energy trading desk by pricing and executing energy derivatives-including swaps, options, and futures-while monitoring daily trading activity for accuracy and operational integrity
- Run daily portfolio risk analyses, P&L updates, reconciliations and other essential reporting to ensure positions and exposures are fully understood across the team
- Support internal risk and commercial teams by providing live market insights, price indications, and hedging strategy suggestions tailored to client exposures
- Collaborate closely with front, middle, and back‑office colleagues to resolve trade issues, maintain smooth operational workflows, and uphold compliance standards
- Become proficient in trading systems used for OTC and cleared products, contributing to the development of new analytical tools that enhance market analysis and trading signals
Requirements
- At least 5-15 years of energy client risk management, and commercial hedging solutions
- Bachelor's degree with strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Required regulatory licences to trade both exchange‑listed and OTC derivatives
- Approved registered trader to operate on local derivatives exchanges
- Highly organised, detail‑focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with options‑analytics tools is a bonus
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is a plus
- Self‑driven and ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment

We are partnering with a multinational enterprise seeking a Senior Commodities Structuring Professional (LNG / Metals ideally, or Oil) to contribute to the development, pricing, and execution of complex commodity‑linked solutions.
This individual contributor role sits within a dynamic environment where innovation, analytical depth, and cross‑functional collaboration are critical.
Responsibilities
Innovate & Develop Solutions
- Conceptualize new commodity‑related products and structure tailored solutions that address evolving client needs. Present these ideas to internal decision‑makers and external stakeholders
Price & Analyze Complex Transactions
- Conduct detailed pricing analysis and apply a strong understanding of market fundamentals, client objectives, and risk considerations to support competitive client proposals
- Coordinate closely with trading, strategy, and risk functions to position the organization effectively in mandate‑driven opportunities
Manage Risk & Transaction Lifecycles
- Provide insight into market‑risk and credit‑risk drivers, ensuring well‑informed trade decisions across the transaction lifecycle
- Collaborate with various control and support teams-including operations, valuation, credit, and legal-to maintain strong governance and accurate trade execution
Enhance Systems & Infrastructure
- Work with analytical and technology teams to refine internal tools, streamline processes, and improve the broader infrastructure supporting commodities structuring and risk management
Requirements
- At least 8-15 years of Commodities Structuring experience in either LNG / Oil / Metals commodities
- Academic background in finance, structured finance, or quantitative discipline; advanced coursework in financial mathematics or derivatives theory is advantageous but not required
- Strong experience working with derivatives across metals and energy markets, such as LNG or oil
- Proficiency in English plus one additional language as you will be serving clients East of Suez
- Ability to navigate fast‑moving market environments with strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
