Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is responsible for managing a book of commercial insurance business, providing exceptional service to clients, and supporting producers in the acquisition and retention of accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial insurance products, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of assigned commercial lines accounts, including renewals, endorsements, certificates, and policy changes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and service requests.
  • Collaborate with producers to develop and maintain strong client relationships and support new business development.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals, coverage comparisons, and renewal strategies.
  • Work with insurance carriers to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage options.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client coverage and recommend appropriate solutions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial lines account management.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and markets.
  • Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g., EPIC, AMS360) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
