Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is responsible for managing a book of commercial insurance business, providing exceptional service to clients, and supporting producers in the acquisition and retention of accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial insurance products, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of assigned commercial lines accounts, including renewals, endorsements, certificates, and policy changes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and service requests.
- Collaborate with producers to develop and maintain strong client relationships and support new business development.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals, coverage comparisons, and renewal strategies.
- Work with insurance carriers to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client coverage and recommend appropriate solutions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial lines account management.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and markets.
- Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g., EPIC, AMS360) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
