AVP IT Auditor (all genders)

Our client:
A prominent Asset Manager with a global internal audit function responsible for assessing the effectiveness of its technology and security controls. To strengthen its IT audit team, the organization is seeking an experienced professional to start as soon as possible.

Position: AVP IT Auditor (all genders)
Location: Frankfurt am Main (hybrid)
Estimated Salary: 80.000€ - 95.000€* base
Languages: German and English (C1+)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the IT Audit leadership in managing a portfolio of audit activities and contribute to ongoing risk assessment and business monitoring.
• Independently plan and execute audits with a focus on IT systems and related processes locally and globally.
• Prepare clear documentation and reports outlining audit findings and recommendations.
• Work jointly with audit colleagues on broader internal reviews.
• Help improve audit methodologies and frameworks.
• Contribute to enhancing business processes across departments.
• Open communication with management and stakeholders, highlight potential issues and escalate delays when needed.

Profile Requirements:

• The right to work and live in Germany without visa support.
• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience: Experience in IT auditing, preferably within the financial or investment sector
• Further experience in IT risk, information security, or cyber security is an advantage
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of IT systems and familiarity with relevant regulatory standards
• Languages: Fluent in German and proficient in English (C1+)
• Additional Skills: Strong communication, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to learning and teamwork
• Certifications such as CISA or CISSP or comparable qualifications are considered an advantage.
• A self-driven and organized working style.
