A fast-growing Series A start-up is seeking a skilled Insurance Placement Specialist to help reshape the future of insurance. This company has developed the world's first AI Broker Assistant, streamlining placement services for brokerages and agencies by automating tasks from client solicitation to policy issuance.
About the Role
As an Account Placement Specialist, you'll act as an extension of client teams, placing insurance coverage, communicating with carriers, and supporting customer service operations. You'll also collaborate with product and development teams to help build and refine AI technology that powers the placement process.
Key Responsibilities
- Quoting & Placement Support: Obtain, compare, and present multiple carrier quotes. Communicate with underwriters to clarify submission requirements, respond to inquiries, and negotiate terms.
- Proposal Generation: Create high-quality, client-facing proposals with quote comparisons, analysis, and recommendations.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and goals.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge in General Liability, BOP, and Workers' Compensation
- 4-8 years of account placement experience
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for delivering a great customer experience
- Technologically savvy
- Proactive and hands-on approach
