Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantitative analysis, software development, and a deep understanding of financial markets. You will work closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and other developers to design, implement, and maintain complex financial models and trading systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model Development: Collaborate with quantitative researchers to develop, test, and deploy quantitative models used in trading strategies.
- System Design: Design and implement robust, scalable systems that support high-frequency trading, portfolio management, and risk analysis.
- Optimization: Optimize algorithms and systems for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
- Data Integration: Work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights and incorporate them into trading models.
- Collaboration: Partner with traders and researchers to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintenance: Ensure the reliability and efficiency of existing systems through regular updates, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends by researching and implementing new technologies and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a quantitative developer or software engineer in a financial services firm, preferably within a hedge fund or trading firm.
- Proven experience with quantitative modeling and algorithm development.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience with data analysis and statistical software (e.g., R, MATLAB).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and distributed systems.
- Financial Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading strategies.
- Experience with derivatives, fixed income, or equities is a plus.
