We are currently seeking an experienced investor to lead the expansion of our client's consumer healthcare business in Shanghai, China. As the VP&MD for this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategic plans that drive growth within this industry sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Expansion
- Develop strategies that help expand the company's footprint within the Chinese market.
- Identify new opportunities for revenue generation through product innovation or acquisition.
Client Facing Role
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and create customized solutions based on those requirements.
Strategic Planning
- Create short-term and long-term goals aligned with organizational objectives while considering economic trends.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
* A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA would be preferable as well from a reputable institution such as Selby Jennings.
* 10+ years' experience working at executive levels preferably having worked previously in Venture Capital or Private Equity sectors focused around research team management/ development..
* Good knowledge of regulatory affairs related to pharmaceuticals products sales/marketing authorization approval processes etcetera..
* Strong communication skills both written & verbal are mandatory so candidates must have excellent interpersonal abilities too!
