Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with clients and participating in the execution of cross-border M&A transactions
- Assisting senior investment banking professionals in developing marketing leads and generating new business ideas
- Conducting financial and technical analysis for various M&A engagements involving public and private companies, including buyside, sellside, corporate carve-outs, and cross-border M&A situations
- Assisting in negotiations and preparing key transaction documents, including confidentiality agreements, merger agreements, sale leaseback agreements, asset purchase agreements, and other ancillary documents
- Performing due diligence and assessing sellers' and targets' business plans, growth prospects, and financial performance
- Conducting valuation analysis and applying various methodologies, such as comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, leveraged buyout analysis, and discounted cash flow analysis
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree from a leading university
- Previous experience as an Analyst 3/Associate in M&A or corporate finance
- Professional proficiency in English; additional foreign languages, especially European languages, are a plus
- Strong quantitative and accounting skills
- Experience managing multiple deals through the entire execution phase
- Strong client management skills, with the ability to earn the trust and respect of client teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail
- A team player with a strong leadership mindset, able to facilitate effective delivery by working with junior team members to improve performance
- Ability to manage expectations, timelines, and effectively communicate with both junior and senior team members
