Our client, a leading Asian headquartered securities firm, is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee their server, virtual machine, network and security operations. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the firm's IT infrastructure, ensuring a secure and efficient IT environment that meets the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the firm's servers, network, virtual machine, and security systems.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the firm's data and systems.
- Ensure the reliability and availability of the firm's IT infrastructure.
- Manage and coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of IT services and solutions.
- Oversee the deployment of new hardware and software systems, ensuring they are aligned with the firm's business objectives.
- Plan and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Manage and mentor the IT team, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills to deliver high-quality IT services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT management, with a strong background in server, network, virtual machine, and security operations.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Experience in managing and mentoring a team of IT professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
