Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 10-15 data engineers, data analyst, and data scientists in the Macro space
- Act as a technical lead in building the next gen of cloud-native analytical data platforms, data APIs, ETL pipelines within the Macro space (AWS)
- Own the data strategy for data across the Macro, FICC, and FX space
- Work with key stakeholders across multiple businesses (COOs, Quants, PMs, Tech Leaders, etc.)
- Lead the data science strategy including building forecasts and analytics for insights
- Lead the architecture and design discussions, champion new technologies, drive innovation/adoption of new technologies
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5+ years as a technical lead
- Expert knowledge of Python, building complex, scalable cloud-based systems and data manipulations (including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
- Strong C++ with knowledge of language specification, STL containers, standard library, algorithms
- Strong AWS Knowledge (Step Functions, Glue, Redshift, SNS/SQS, S3, Lambdas)
- Strong Kubernetes, Docker, and/or other Alternative Cloud Orchestration Technologies
- Unix (Linux) and Database Experience (SQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, Server)
- Experience with Application Deployment using CI/CD (Jenkins)
- Experience with Monitoring Tools (AWS Cloud Watch, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience with Alerting Tools (PagerDuty)
- Experience with Bloomberg and/or Refinitiv products
- Expereince working in the Macro, FICC, or FX space
