Role:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of US/HK/Global internet stocks, including financial modeling, valuation, and industry analysis.
- Monitor and interpret market trends, news, and developments affecting the internet sector.
- Prepare and publish detailed equity research reports, including earnings previews, reviews, and thematic reports.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company performance and assess valuation.
- Communicate investment recommendations and insights to institutional clients through written reports, presentations, and client meetings.
- Collaborate with other analysts and team members to share insights and develop comprehensive research coverage.
- Attend industry conferences, company presentations, and other relevant events to gather information and build relationships with industry contacts.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and compliance requirements related to equity research.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- Extensive experience in equity research, investment banking, or a related field, with a focus on the internet sector.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in using financial databases and software (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Excel).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
