Title: Corporate Development Associate
Company Summary: We are currently partnered with a public S&P 500 industrials company looking to add a Corporate Development Associate to their growing team in Charlotte, NC. The company is highly acquisitive closing over $3 billion in acquisitions and $1 billion in divestitures. The Corporate Development Associate will have the opportunity to have high visibility to the C-Suite, while getting to work on both execution and strategy. The Corporate Development Associate will have a clear path for upward mobility as this company has a great track record of organic growth.
Corporate Development Associate will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the full process of both mergers and divestitures
- Creating financial models including DCFs, pro-forma merger models, and more
- Helping with post-integration teams to identify and realize deal synergies
- Generate and maintain relationships with investment bankers, family-owned businesses, private-equity sponsors, and more
Corporate Development Associate should have the following qualifications:
- 2+ years of Investment Banking, Corporate Development, or M&A experience
- A background within Industrials
- MBA or Bachelors in Finance, Economics, or other business related fields
- A strong understanding of advanced PowerPoint and Excel
