Title: Corporate Development Analyst
Company Summary: We are partnered with a start-up renewable energy equipment manufacturer looking to bring on a Corporate Development Analyst to their team to support on the path to scale decarbonization. This Corporate Development Analyst will have the opportunity to work within the Corporate Development team to support capital raisings and strategic transactions. The Corporate Development Analyst will be responsible for building financial models, preparing presentation materials, supporting due diligence functions for a range of transactions across equity, debt, project financing, M&A, and strategic partnership to help against the mission to make molecules to decarbonize our world!
Corporate Development Analyst Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis, modeling and valuation to evaluate potential acquisition targets, partnerships and other strategic initiatives
- Prepare detailed financial projections and analysis to support decision making
- Work closely with senior management to identify potential acquisition targets and evaluate strategic initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential acquisition targets and partners
- Perform due diligence and negotiate deal terms
- Prepare and present investment memos to the senior management team and board of directors
- Assist in post-acquisition integration and monitoring of performance
Corporate Development Analyst Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development or Private Equity
- Strong financial modeling, analysis, and valuation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with Renewables, Energy, Industrials, and Manufacturing industry a plus, but not required
