We are looking for a dedicated P&C Actuarial Lead who will play a crucial role in our actuarial team, The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, actuarial expertise, and excellent leadership abilities. As a P&C Actuarial Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of actuaries, analyzing complex data, and providing valuable insights to drive business decisions and enhance our insurance offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Manage and lead a team of actuaries, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment to encourage professional growth and development.
Actuarial Analysis:
- Analyze data related to middle-market construction to assess risk, pricing, and profitability.
- Develop and maintain actuarial models to evaluate insurance products and pricing strategies.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic initiatives related to product development, pricing, and underwriting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with underwriters, claims specialists, and other departments to enhance overall business performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- ACAS (Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society) or FCAS (Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society) designation is required.
- Strong experience in commercial lines of insurance.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in actuarial modeling software.
- Effective leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Proficient in SQL, EXCEL, and R for data analysis and modeling purposes.
