Account Manager - Calgary
We are currently partnered with a research consultancy, providing market intel on the commodities markets to leading financial institutions looking to bring on an Account Manager in their Calgary office. This is a great opportunity to get in with a rapidly growing firm within a hot space.
The Account Manager will be responsible for:
* Growing the existing book of business through renewals, upselling and cross-selling
* Identifying leads and developing business
* Building strong client relationships and ensuring client retention
* Driving strategies focusing on renewals, retention and revenue growth
* Maintaining accurate pipeline and sales information in CRM system
* Consult with potential new prospects and collaborate within the business
The Account Manager should have the following qualifications:
* 4-6 years of account management experience within financial services or commodities space
* Experience working in a b2b sales environment, with a subscription based product
* Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to collaborate with clients as well as internal stakeholders
Desirable Skills
* Experience in the commodities / energy space
* Understanding of front, middle and back office operations
* Has sold subscription based research
