Job Details:
Our client is looking to add a skilled VP of Financial Due Diligence to its growing team; our client is a boutique Investment Bank with locations in Cleveland, OH, Irvine, CA, Grand Rapids, MI, and Plano, TX. As our client's platform grows, they are looking to build out a specialized Financial Due Diligence team as a part of its greater Financial Advisory team. Responsibilities:
- Execute Financial Due Diligence projects as part of our client's greater Financial Advisory Team
- Serve as a client-facing lead, maintaining client relations
- Monitor the status of active due diligence projects, tracking from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines and client commitments are met
- Serve as subject matter expert for due diligence team through training, guidance, and technical support
- Analyze target company data for working capital considerations and potential liabilities and risks that impact valuation
- Develop quality of earnings analysis through the assessment of the quality and sustainability of the target company's reported adjusted earnings
- Identify key risks, assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the client's investment strategy

Criteria:
- Prior experience with Financial Due Diligence is required
- 7+ years of experience in Financial Due Diligence, Transaction Advisory, or Audit
- Insurance industry experience is a bonus, but not required
- Proven leadership experience
- Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Word
- Bachelor's degree in Finance of Accounting, Master's degree or CPA is a plus
- Open to travel: up to 20% of the time
Base Salary: $130,000 - $180,000
Discretionary Bonus: 10% -30%
