A prestigious asset manager in Los Angeles with tens of billions in AUM is looking to bring on a Senior Analyst. The firm only looks for individuals with a strong academic and professional backgrounds that can work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This team invests across Performing Corporate Bonds and is seeking a candidate with experience specifically in the High Yield space. The firm applies rigorous analysis and diligence to credit investing. This is a VP level role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth credit analysis of corporate issuers.
- Monitor and assess credit risk across various companies and geographies within these industries.
- Develop and pitch investment opportunities.
- Stay abreast of market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes affecting your sector.
Qualifications:
- STRONG ties to Los Angeles or southern California
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; CFA or equivalent certification preferred.
- MUST have 4+ years of buyside experience
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
