Venture Capital Firm - Assistant Manager, Fund Accountant
Responsibilities for the Venture Capital Firm, Fund Accountant:
- Preparing and reviewing NAV calculations for several funds - specifically private assets like Private Credit or Private Equity.
- Acting as the liaison with Fund Administrators and internal teams, ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of the deliverables.
- Ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of processing the fund trades, settlements and related instructions.
- Monitoring capital activity including subscriptions, capital calls and distributions.
Requirements for the Venture Capital Firm, Fund Accountant:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accountancy.
- Minimum of 4 - 9 years of relevant experience in an Asset Manager, Fund Manager, Fund Administrator or Big 4. Buy-side experience will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with Private Markets, across Private Credit, Private Equity or Venture Capital.
- Familiarity with Accounting Standards (IFRS / US GAAP)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Front Office and senior stakeholders.
