About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Valuation Analyst to join our growing Valuation & Advisory team. This role is ideal for professionals with 2-3 years of experience in valuation, financial analysis, or related fields who are looking to deepen their expertise in business valuation across a variety of industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct valuations of privately held businesses for purposes including financial reporting, tax compliance, mergers & acquisitions, and litigation support.
- Perform financial statement analysis, industry research, and economic analysis to support valuation conclusions.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models using income, market, and asset-based approaches.
- Prepare comprehensive valuation reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior team members to support client engagements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Stay current on valuation standards, industry trends, and relevant regulatory developments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in business valuation or public accounting.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Progress toward or interest in pursuing a professional designation (e.g., ASA, CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
