Team Lead, Investment Consellor - Private Wealth Management
Our client is a rapidly expanding private wealth management firm entering its next phase of growth. As part of this expansion, the firm is building a scaled investment advisory capability to support an increasingly sophisticated client base.
They are now seeking a senior investment professional to lead the investment advisory team, playing a pivotal role in shaping how investment ideas are generated, translated, and delivered across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a high-performing team of investment advisors and analysts to support relationship managers and clients.
- Develop a comprehensive advisory framework that delivers clear, timely, and actionable investment views across asset classes.
- Partner closely with product specialists, portfolio teams, and private banker to ensure strong alignment between investment strategy and client needs.
- Drive the adoption of data, AI, and digital tools to enhance research productivity, consistency, and scalability of investment insights.
- Act as a senior investment voice for key clients, supporting complex portfolio discussions and bespoke solutions for high-net-worth and institutional investors.
- Contribute to the firm's broader growth agenda by helping define best practices as the wealth platform scales regionally.
Requirements
- At least 6 years' experience in investment advisory within private banking, securities, or asset management.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of building and managing investment-focused teams.
- Solid exposure to advising HNW/UHNW clients, delivering tailored portfolio and market solutions rather than generic investment views.
- Strong knowledge across multi-asset products including equities, fixed income, FX, funds, structured solutions, and derivatives, with coverage of both Greater China and global markets.
- High proficiency with AI, fintech, and digital advisory tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
