Tax and Accounting Assistant (m/f/d)
We are currently supporting a fast-growing company in the digital finance sector in their search for a Tax and Accounting Assistant (m/f/d) to join their finance team in Berlin. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a company at the forefront of innovation in digital asset infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities:
- Recording incoming and outgoing invoices in the invoice ledger
- Pre-sorting and classifying financial documents
- Assisting with payroll preparation
- Supporting pre-month-end bookkeeping activities
- Providing documentation and information for internal and external audits
- Assisting with budgeting and financial planning
Your Profile:
- Completed vocational training as a tax clerk or a degree in business administration with a focus on tax, accounting, or controlling
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive and responsible work style
- Proficient in DATEV and MS Office applications
- Good command of English and German is mandatory
- Experience in payroll preparation is a plus
