Job Description: As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the financial controls and reporting of various departments. You will analyse financial data, assess its quality, and translate it into clear reports for management. During the month-end closing, you will ensure that the figures are correct and delivered on time. Additionally, you will maintain standard and ad-hoc reports for various departments and work closely with unit leaders, Business Control, Partners, and Managers. You will actively think about process improvements and support the business in gaining in-depth insight into financial performance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Utilize Financial Knowledge: Optimally utilize your financial knowledge and analytical skills to contribute to the goals of our organization.
Financial Control: Ensure financial control and improve financial processes within your customer area.
Stakeholder Coordination: Create effective coordination and collaboration with different stakeholders.
Monthly Closings: Accurately and timely execute monthly closings and financial reporting.
Process Improvements: Contribute to process improvements and develop new insights for the business.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field.
Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role.
Skills: Ability to translate complex financial data into useful insights and experience in drawing up budgets and forecasts.
Attributes: Critical, analytical, and curious, with a hands-on mentality. Reliable, honest, and strong communication skills.
Technical Skills: Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in both written and spoken Dutch and English.
