Senior Data Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and quality of financial market and reference data across the organisation.
- Work closely with trading, research, risk, and compliance teams to understand and resolve data-related issues.
- Investigate data discrepancies and help ensure information is accurate, complete, and available when needed.
- Assist with on-boarding new data sources and evaluating external data providers.
- Coordinate and support data-related projects from requirements gathering through to testing and implementation.
- Help improve existing processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and data quality.
- Partner with operational and technology teams to ensure the smooth flow of critical business data.
- Support ongoing reporting, analysis, and data governance initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a data-focused role within financial services, investment management, market data, or a related environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and investigating data issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
