RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess creditworthiness of counterparties and underlying assets.
- Analyze historical performance, identify key risks, and recommend limits/tenors.
- Validate risk ratings, Basel III parameters, and financial metrics.
- Monitor portfolio credit quality; participate in watch list reviews.
- Track credit and market trends across asset classes.
- Support reporting for risk management and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to credit policy and global risk appetite.
- Evaluate new business initiatives and products.
DIVISION OVERVIEW
Risk Management ensures sustainable growth by analyzing and monitoring risk-taking activities across credit, market, liquidity, and operational risks. The Credit Risk team manages exposure to corporates, financial institutions, sovereigns, and country risk, setting policies and exposure limits.
Seeking a senior credit risk professional experienced in approving credit lines, managing exposures, and monitoring collateral for:
- Banks, non-bank FIs, and insurers
- Private equity and fund financing
- Specialty finance (BDCs, REITs)
- Portfolio financing across asset classes
- Derivative and hedging exposures
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years in financial risk management, with insurance expertise.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk and U.S. regulatory practices.
- Analytical, independent, and able to manage complex transactions.
- Skilled in prioritization, collaboration, and strategic decision-making.
- Excellent English writing; French a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Innovative and results-oriented.
