A leading proprietary trading firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior C++ Developer to join its Trading Systems team. This role involves developing and optimizing high-performance trading infrastructure across global markets. You will work closely with quantitative researchers and other developers to build systems that operate at the cutting edge of speed and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain low-latency trading systems.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to implement and optimize trading strategies.
- Conduct technical research to improve system performance and reliability.
- Contribute to the architecture of complex, high-load systems.
- Share knowledge and mentor team members.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in C++ development.
- Strong command of modern C++ (C++17 or newer).
- Deep understanding of computer systems, including OS internals, networking, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in Linux environments.
- Experience working on complex, high-throughput systems.
- Solid foundation in algorithms and data structures.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience at a proprietary trading firm, particularly in market-making or high-frequency trading (HFT/MFT).
- Experience developing low-latency systems.
