Senior Accountant - BIG 4 CPA
Company Overview: We are partnered with a rapidly growing $X00M technology-based entertainment company. They are seeking a senior accountant to join their accounting team.
Comp Band: $105k - $115k + (10% - 15%) Bonus
In Office Policy:
- LA candidates: 1-2 days / week
- SF / SD Candidates: Open to remote structure
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for specific accounts (e.g., revenue, BS accounts, and OPEX).
- Assist with Big 4 audit and liaise with external auditors.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Mentor and guide junior accountants and accounting staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in at a Big 4 CPA firm (e.g., active senior with 1 busy season under your belt). Active CPA license or significant progress towards having obtained your license will set you apart.
- No need for entertainment or TMT based clients in public accounting | Generalists OK
