VP Operational Risk
We're currently partnering with a leading fintech firm to hire a VP of Operational Risk in New York. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing the firm's Operational Risk framework, while working cross-functionally to strengthen risk awareness and enhance best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the Operational Risk frameworks across the enterprise
- Collaborate across all lines of defense to challenge and advise business stakeholders on operational risk management
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide reporting on risk management activities
- Enhance relationships with stakeholders to ensure implementation of risk management best practices
- Monitor the risk profile to ensure alignment with the risk appetite and risk strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in risk management, economics, computer science, or related area
- 10 years of experience in risk management within financial services
- Experience in risk identification, documentation, mitigation strategies.
- Experience with SDLC methodologies and Operational Risk principles
- Seasoned in execution of RCSA program enterprise wide
