Semi / Hardware Tech Analyst
Selby Jennings has partnered with a leading multi-strategy investment manager in Hong Kong. The firm is currently seeking an investment professional with experience covering the Semi / Hardware Tech sector focusing on the Taiwan market. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Semi / Hardware Tech space, market trends, and developments. This role will involve working closely with the portfolio manager in conducting in-depth fundamental research and analysis to support investment decisions and strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of Taiwan Semi / Hardware sector, including industry trends, competitive landscape, etc.
- Monitor and evaluate macroeconomic factors affecting the Semi / Hardware sector.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company performance and market trends.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to portfolio manager.
- Stay updated on industry news, regulatory changes, and emerging trends.
Requirements:
- Candidates should possess knowledge of global consumer markets and trends.
- 2-5 years of experience in equity research or investment functions, preferably with relevant coverage experience.
- Open to candidates with sellside or buyside experience.
- Any experience or exposure in covering the broader APAC region considered an advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills when discussing investment ideas.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools, with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
