Location: Kansas City Metro Area (Kansas & Missouri)

Our client, a growing and highly respected specialty insurance organization, is seeking a Commercial Insurance Sales Representative to join their team in the Kansas City market.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and helping clients protect valuable real estate assets through specialized insurance solutions. Prior insurance sales experience is welcomed, but candidates from other B2B sales backgrounds are encouraged to apply as well.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with insurance agents, brokers, and business partners throughout the region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and referrals.
  • Educate clients and partners on available insurance products and coverage solutions.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective business opportunities and consistently achieve sales goals.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and solutions.
  • Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence to support continued growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience required (insurance experience is a plus but not mandatory).
  • Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with real estate, property management, financial services, insurance, or related industries is beneficial but not required.
  • Active Property & Casualty license is a plus.
