Associate Actuary - Capital Risk
A leading life insurance organization is seeking a Senior Actuary, Capital Management to play a key role in capital strategy, optimization, and enterprise risk initiatives. This highly visible position offers direct exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to influence major business decisions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance capital reporting for regulatory and rating agency requirements
- Analyze the capital impact of strategic initiatives, growth plans, and organizational changes
- Advise senior leadership on capital efficiency and optimization opportunities
- Develop and maintain capital projection models for internal and external reporting
Qualifications
- ASA designation required; FSA track preferred
- 8+ years of actuarial experience
- Background in capital management, risk, financial reporting, or actuarial modeling
- Strong understanding of regulatory and rating agency capital frameworks
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
