Regulatory Compliance Manager
Our client is a globally recognized Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM), managing a diverse portfolio across private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and other alternative asset classes.
They are seeking Regulatory Compliance Manager for their office in Luxembourg, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the firm's adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This is a broad compliance role with a particular emphasis on compliance monitoring and regulatory watch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Monitoring:
- Design, implement, and maintain the compliance monitoring plan (CMP) in line with CSSF expectations.
- Conduct regular compliance reviews and thematic testing across business units.
- Identify, assess, and report compliance risks and breaches, and follow up on remediation actions.
- Regulatory Watch & Advisory:
- Monitor regulatory developments at EU and from the CSSF.
- Analyze the impact of regulatory changes and advise senior management and business units accordingly.
- Draft and update internal policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes.
- Governance & Reporting:
- Prepare compliance reports for the Board of Directors, Conducting Officers, and regulators.
- Support regulatory filings and liaise with the CSSF and other competent authorities as needed.
- Participate in internal committees and working groups.
Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a compliance role in the AIF space.
- Strong knowledge of AIFMD, CSSF regulations, AML/CFT, and other relevant EU directives.
- Experience in compliance monitoring/testing and regulatory analysis is essential. Experience in internal audit could be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in English; French or German is a plus.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
